Federal Way, WA, February 18, 2026 – Holman Logistics, a leading third-party logistics provider, welcomes Thomas Atkins as General Manager (GM) of their Kansas City, KS operation. Thomas reports to Ted Kinney, Director of Operations.
Thomas joins Holman with over 25 years of leadership experience in manufacturing and warehousing operations. He has continuously improved safety and production performance, strengthened operational discipline, and enhanced cross-functional communication within organizations, including Coca-Cola, Shasta Beverages, and Borden Snack Foods (Guy’s Chips).
Thomas is a forward-thinking production leader with a proven track record of transforming operations, energizing teams, and delivering results that exceed expectations. Known for enhancing efficiency, advocating for quality, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Skilled at handling complex challenges, optimizing resources, and inspiring cross-functional teamwork to reach ambitious business objectives. Thomas earned his bachelor’s degree from Arkansas Northeastern College and holds SQF (Safe Quality Food) certification, a GFSI-benchmarked food safety and quality standard that ensures products are handled, processed, and shipped in accordance with strict, audited guidelines. Thomas is also HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) certified, a required, science-based preventive food safety system mandated by the FDA/USDA.
