Brien Downie

President

Brien Downie has served as President of Holman since February 2019. Brien leads Holman with a focus on continuing to provide an Extraordinary Service Experience for all Holman customers. Prior to his current role, Brien served as Vice President of Holman Logistics for 5 years. Brien holds a BA in Media Management from Biola University and an MBA in Marketing and Strategy from the Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Joan Book

Joan Book

Director of Human Resources

Joan Book maintains responsibility for all human resources functions. She has over 15 years of experience supporting and helping develop the most important resources of Holman, initially at the Holman Perryville, MD location and now at the Holman Corporate office in Kent, WA. Joan holds a JD from the University of Baltimore and, in addition to her experience in human resources, has over 17 years in legal practice representing management in labor and employment law.

John Fredricks

Division Manager

John is a Holman Division Manager with over 25 years of leadership experience in distribution center operations and supply chain logistics. He maintains responsibility for multiple locations across the U.S. John’s expertise includes high volume order fulfillment and re-distribution across a variety of industries, including MRO-building materials, beverage, appliance, and auto parts supplies. He has also led multiple facility start-ups and distribution center relocations throughout his career.

Matt Ho

Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer, Matt is responsible for the management of the company’s financial functions including compliance and internal controls in accounting, finance, audit, treasury, and risk management. Matt has over 20 years of finance and accounting experience and holds a B.A. in Accounting from Western Washington University.

Don Hornsby

Don Hornsby

Director of Special Projects

Don Hornsby has over 30 years with Holman Logistics working in a wide range of positions, including General Manager, Division Manager, National Operations Manager, and Transportation Manager. He is a Lean-Six Sigma Black Belt and holds a BS in Accounting, Integrated Supply Chain, and Operations Management from the University of Phoenix.

Ted Kinney

Division Manager

Ted has over 40 years of logistics and supply chain experience. As a Division Manager, Ted is responsible for multiple locations of Dedicated Logistics customers at Holman. Ted obtained his degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Oregon.

Fred Olson

Fred Olson

Vice President of Business Development

As VP of Business Development, Fred is responsible for new customer engagement and collaborates with Holman Logistics experts across the organization to develop custom supply chain solutions. Fred has over 30 total years of experience in the logistics industry and has been part of Holman Logistics for 20 years.

Steve Stewart

Division Manager

As a Holman Division General Manager, Steve maintains responsibility for multiple locations of Dedicated Logistics customers across the U.S. Steve has over 35 total years of varied management experience in the logistics industry and has been with Holman for over 17 years. Steve received his Lean-Six Sigma Black Belt from Villanova University.

Jeremy Thompson

Jeremy Thompson

Division Manager

Jeremy is a Division Manager for Holman with responsibility for Multi-Client Warehousing facilities as well as Commercial and Brokerage Transportation Services. Jeremy joined Holman in 2017 and has over 25 total years of logistics industry experience. Jeremy holds degrees in Finance from Washington State University and Business Administration from Clark College.
