At the 2020 Council of Supply Chain Management EDGE virtual conference held September 21-23, Holman Logistics presented a special educational session entitled “Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Today’s Material Handling and Warehousing Operations.” Brien Downie, President of Holman, Marc Gyongyosi, CEO of OneTrack.AI, and Erich Hopkins of Kimberly-Clark discussed why Holman invested in Artificial Intelligence, including the ways AI can improve safety and reduce damage in warehouses and distribution centers.

The Holman-hosted session was attended on the event day by industry leaders and other conference participants and featured a chance for attendees to ask questions via live chat during the previously-recorded presentation. More attended later as the session was released for “on-demand” viewing after the presentation date.

In the spring of 2020, CSCMP selected the Holman special education session entry for inclusion in the fall conference in the Emerging Trends category. The EDGE conference is one of the logistics industry’s premier yearly events, and the 2020 virtual EDGE had over 2000 participants from around the world.
