
Brien Downie
CEO
Brien has been the CEO of Holman Logistics since June 2025. He leads Holman with a focus on providing an Extraordinary Service Experience for all customers. Before his current role, Brien was Vice President at Holman Logistics for five years and served as President for six years. He earned a B.A. in Media Management from Biola University and an MBA in Marketing and Strategy from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA.

Mike Gardner
President & COO
Mike has over 40 years of experience in the supply chain industry. He has held various executive-level roles, including owning his own company, Gardner Advisory Services, and serving as President and CEO of Kane Is Able, Inc. He is also a founding board member of the American Logistics Aid Network (ALAN) and serves on the board of the Miami University Center for Supply Chain Excellence. Mike earned a B.S. in Business Logistics from Miami University and an MBA in Finance from Southern Illinois University.

Haïm Dimer
Director of Information Technology
Haïm has 30 years of experience in the technology industry, including leadership roles at startups and large enterprises in the U.S. and Europe. As Director of IT, he is responsible for all IT infrastructure and programs across the Holman Logistics network nationwide. Haïm holds a B.S. in Information Technology and an Executive MBA from HEC Paris Business School.

Don Hornsby
Director of Continuous Improvement
Don has worked at Holman Logistics for over 30 years, holding various positions, including General Manager, Division Manager, National Operations Manager, and Transportation Manager. He is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, holds a B.S. in Accounting, Integrated Supply Chain Management, and Operations Management from the University of Phoenix, and an M.S. in Systems Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso.

Matt Ireland, CSP, SMP
Director of Environmental Health and Safety
Matt is responsible for overseeing and implementing the industry-leading safety protocols across the Holman organization. With more than 20 years of safety-focused experience, including 15 years at Holman, Matt is passionate about keeping all team members and customers we serve safe and free from harm. He holds a B.S. in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University and is certified as a CSP and SMP by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.

Laurie Johnston
Vice President of People Support
Laurie brings more than two decades of progressive experience spanning HR leadership, employment law, and organizational development across multiple industries. She holds a Juris Doctor from Creighton University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Theater Arts/Political Science from the University of Northern Iowa. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Colorado State University – Global. She maintains a Washington State Bar License and holds both SHRM-SCP and SPHR certifications, reflecting her commitment to the highest standards of the human resources profession.

Ted Kinney
Director of Operations
Ted has over 40 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management. As Director of Operations, Ted is responsible for multiple dedicated customer locations at Holman Logistics. He earned his B.A. in Business Administration and Management from the University of Oregon.

Troy Mascarenhas
CFO
Troy is an experienced executive in logistics, distribution, and finance who has held leadership roles at various organizations, including Head of Logistics for Walmart Canada and Chief Financial Officer at Kane Is Able, Inc. Troy is passionate about helping companies improve by streamlining operations through continuous improvement efforts, building high-performance teams, and reducing costs. He is a Certified Professional Accountant and holds an Honours Bachelor of Administration Studies in Accounting and Business Management from York University in Toronto, Canada.

Fred Olson
Vice President of Customer Solutions
As VP of Customer Solutions, Fred is responsible for customer engagement and works with Holman Logistics experts throughout the organization to develop tailored supply chain solutions. Fred has more than 30 years of experience in the logistics industry and has been with Holman Logistics for over 20 years. He earned a B.A. from the University of Washington.

Jason Pettit
Director of Operations
Jason joined Holman in 1998 and is currently responsible for several locations serving dedicated logistics customers. During his time at Holman, Jason has held roles ranging from lift truck operator to operations manager and general manager. His broad experience provides a strong foundation in key business principles, allowing him to deliver outstanding leadership. Jason earned a B.A. from the University of Washington.

Tim Sartin
Vice President of Sales
Tim has built his career as a trusted partner to leading Retail, CPG, Apparel, Beauty & Personal Care, and Healthcare brands. He brings specialized expertise in large-scale, customized, multichannel fulfillment solutions. His areas of expertise span new business strategy, solutions design and pricing, eCommerce fulfillment, contract negotiations, product development, and project management. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee.

Alex Stark
Director of Marketing
Alex is an experienced marketing and communications professional with over 30 years of experience, most recently with ID Logistics US and Kane Is Able, Inc. Alex has held numerous leadership and operational roles during his career in supply chain and logistics, including senior director of internal communication, senior director of business development, senior director of marketing, and general manager of a national distribution center. Alex holds a B.S. in Business Communications from the University of Scranton and is active in various industry-focused and community organizations.
